Greeneview Local School District Greeneview Schools is looking for an Athletic Director for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a replacement position. This position will have the responsibility for the overall management of the district's athletic program: Supervises the high school and middle school athletics programs in coordination with the principal Develops interscholastic athletic schedules and officials' schedules for all games Coordinates transportation for all athletic games Oversees the operational budget and financial procedures for each sport; implements the budget, and utilizes fundraising efforts Secures all needed personnel for the operation of the athletic program, including game officials, announcers, timekeepers, ticket sellers, ticket takers, security, supervisors, custodians, concessions, support personnel and medical coverage Supervises all athletic coaches Implements and monitors the Athletic Code of Conduct Supervises all games in coordination with principals and site manager Represents the school, as needed, at conference and state meetings for administering the athletic program Ensures that all applicable laws and regulations related to athletics are applied and followed Maintains records and documents as required and necessary to ensure proper documentation of athletic program activities, events, participation, and related information for the purpose of complying with school policies Supervises the care and maintenance of all athletic facilities and maintains accurate inventory of all athletic equipment Attends and serves as school liaison at athletic booster club meetings Creates materials to publicize athletic and sporting events (printed and electronic formats) for the purpose of disseminating information and fostering enhanced awareness among students, staff, and the community in recognizing and supporting the school's athletic programs and attending events Provides information regarding schedules, postponements, cancellations, sporting event statistics, records, and other relevant information Demonstrates strong communication skills Develops community relations Preference will be given to previous experience as an administrator and/or experience in the field.
