ATHLETIC TRAINER

Duties and Responsibilities:

Pre-game, post game and nongame/practice injury evaluation, treatment and rehab Provide trainer coverage for all home games and away football games Acting as a resource for Student-Athletes and coaches Complete and maintain records of athletic injuries and concussions Administer and monitor all IMPACT concussion tests for athletes Collect and manage all student athletes physicals required to participate in athletics Collaborate with Athletic Director to maintain supplies and equipment inventory Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work non-traditional hours typical of high school athletics including nights and weekends Minimum Credentials Bachelor's level degree in Athletic Training or related field Massachusetts Athletic Trainer License & completion of background checks and fingerprinting CPR/AED and First Aid Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as an athletic trainer in a school setting Certified in Athletic Training by NATA CPR/AED and First Aid Instructor Certification BOC Certification and successful completion of CAATE accredited program

Annual Salary Range:

$55,000 - $70,000 commensurate with experience and schedule Municipal employee benefits package available
