Job Description
A Anticipated Vacancy exits for an Attendance Clerk for Upper Merion Area School District (Caley Elementary)
Work Days:
205 days/year (10 Months); 1534.50 hrs/yearHours:
8:00 AM - 4:00 pm Daily (Monday through Friday)Salary Range:
$18.00- $22.00/hr.Qualifications:
High School diploma. Excellent secretarial and clerical skills. Excellent computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets. Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent bookkeeping skills. Self-directedness and ability to organize. Ability to be flexible, self-directed, and motivated. Original certificates of clearance from the State Police, Child Abuse Registry, and PDE FBI.Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitors attendance of all students and takes appropriate actions to handle absences and late arrivals. Provides clerical support to staff. Sends certified letters for illegal absences. Prepares forms for the District Magistrate Court. Operates the automated call system for broadcast messages. Sorts incoming mail. Interacts with Assistant Principals regarding discipline referrals.
