Job Description
As an Audio Engineer, you will design and implement audio system setups for live events and productions, including the installation of microphones, consoles, monitors, and signal routing systems. You will operate and mix live audio and recordings to maintain exceptional sound quality while creating headphone and monitor mixes and applying sound processing as needed.
This role also involves troubleshooting and resolving sound-related issues during events in a fast-paced environment. The Audio Engineer is expected to collaborate effectively with production crews and performers to ensure smooth event execution. Additional responsibilities include testing and optimizing all audio systems prior to event startup, performing safe setup and teardown of equipment, and notifying management of any equipment requiring maintenance or repair.
Requirements and QualificationsQualified candidates should possess advanced knowledge of live sound systems, signal flow, and audio equipment operation. Previous experience mixing live audio is essential, along with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Candidates must be able to remain calm and perform efficiently under pressure during live events and productions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are required, as this position works closely with multiple departments and clients. Excellent customer service skills are also important to ensure a positive experience for performers, production teams, and event attendees.

Work EnvironmentThe Audio Engineer primarily works on-site supervising audio setups and event operations. Frequent travel between installation and event locations may be required. Events can take place outdoors in varying weather conditions, including holidays and evenings.
