Our venue offers an exceptional experience designed to exceed your every expectation. Our highly experienced staff, AV experts, and access to delectable catering from our in-house restaurant, Salt + Brine, ensure your event is extraordinary. The Alexandria, a premier event space is seeking a hands-on and service-driven Audio Visual Manager to oversee all audiovisual operations across a life science campus. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless execution of meetings, events, and daily tenant needs through the management of AV systems, event technology, and on-site support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and functionality of all AV systems across meeting rooms, conference spaces, and bar & restaurant spaces
  • Manage end-to-end AV support for meetings and events, including setup, testing, execution, and breakdown
  • Provide on-site technical support for videoconferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and professionally with minimal disruption to guests and tenants
  • Maintain and manage AV equipment inventory, including microphones, projectors, displays, sound systems, and control panels
Qualifications:
  • Strong working knowledge of AV systems, signal flow, sound systems, and display technology
  • Proficiency with videoconferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet)
  • Experience with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, or similar) preferred A successful candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years of proven experience in technology preferrable within a hospitality venue and strong interpersonal skills coupled with exemplary guest service.
