Audiologist:

Provide a full range of audiology services to determine type and degree of hearing impairment and implements habilitation and rehabilitation services. Provide assessments and diagnoses to patients and families, setting outcomes and implementing actions to meet patient and family needs, evaluate patient progress toward desired outcomes using sound clinical decision-making practices. Educate patients and families regarding audiological wellness. Perform other duties as assigned.

Audiologist Qualifications:

Doctor of Audiology (Au.

D.) degree from an accredited program preferred. Current and valid Alaska audiology license (or eligibility to obtain one). Board Certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA). Proficiency in diagnostic audiology, hearing aid fitting, and aural rehabilitation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
