Job Description

Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract Make a positive impact as an Educational Audiologist working with school-aged students from September 1st through October 14th! This contract opportunity allows you to provide essential audiological services to children in multiple districts, supporting academic success and student well-being. With a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, you'll work with a manageable caseload of 113 students across 13 different districts, playing a pivotal role in their educational journey.
Qualifications:
Valid Audiology licensure for the state of Minnesota Demonstrated experience, clinical or school-based, with pediatric or school-aged populations Strong knowledge of hearing assessments, auditory habilitation, and assistive technologies Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Comfortable working independently across multiple school districts Ability to start September 1st and commit through October 14th
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for students as needed Interpret results and collaborate with IEP teams to recommend and implement accommodations Provide direct auditory intervention and counseling services to students and staff Support classroom teachers and other staff in managing assistive listening devices and other audiology technology Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as a vital member of special education teams Offer training and resources to educators and families regarding hearing loss and supports Embrace the chance to work in a collaborative, student-centered environment while gaining valuable experience in a multi-district setting.
