Job Description

Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students across multiple districts as an Educational Audiologist. This opportunity places you at the forefront of student success, guiding a caseload of 113 students from September 1st through October 14th. Engage with diverse learners and collaborate with educational staff across 13 districts, providing expertise that makes a tangible difference during the crucial fall start-up.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program State licensure (Minnesota) or eligibility upon hire Experience working as an Audiologist within school settings preferred Strong assessment, diagnostic, and report-writing abilities Comfortable collaborating with multi-disciplinary educational teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for students referred across 13 districts Consult with educational staff and parents regarding hearing loss and its impact on learning Recommend, fit, and troubleshoot assistive listening devices as needed Develop, monitor, and update relevant IEP or 504 plan goals in compliance with regulations Provide in-service training for faculty on hearing health and classroom strategies Maintain accurate and up-to-date records per district and state requirements Travel between schools within the districts as needed
