Job Description

Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting student success as a contract school Audiologist for the upcoming academic year. This rewarding position, focused on K-12 students, begins August 26 and offers a part-time schedule ranging from .5 to .7 FTE. You'll provide essential services that empower students to reach their full potential in the classroom.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Hold a valid state license and credentials as an Audiologist Previous experience working with K-12 populations in educational or pediatric settings preferred Strong knowledge of assessment tools and assistive listening technologies Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families Commitment to upholding best practices, confidentiality, and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and screenings for students across grade levels Interpret results and make recommendations for appropriate interventions or classroom accommodations Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to support individualized learning plans (IEPs/504s) Recommend and support the use of assistive technologies to enhance student access and participation Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines Provide in-services and training for staff on audiology-related topics and classroom strategies Perks of this
