In this role, you'll leverage your expertise to perform precise repairs, restorations, and refinishing work that exceeds customer expectations. Whether you're repairing collision damage, restoring vintage vehicles, or performing routine maintenance, your skills will help bring vehicles back to their original glory. Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage thoroughly and develop detailed repair plans to restore vehicles to factory specifications. Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using hand tools, power tools, MIG welding, and soldering techniques. Conduct auto painting utilizing airless paint spraying equipment to achieve smooth, flawless finishes. Repair or replace auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision. Fabricate custom parts and modify vehicle components through welding, fabrication, and assembly processes. Maintain vehicle integrity by performing auto restoration tasks such as sanding, detailing, and finishing touches. Collaborate with customers and team members to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of repairs. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair and restoration. Proficiency in MIG welding, welding techniques, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication. Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and vehicle maintenance. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, auto estimating software, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying for high-quality finishes. Experience with auto glass installation and auto body detailing to ensure a polished final product. Ability to interpret technical manuals and perform auto repairs with precision while maintaining safety standards. $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
