Auto Body Technician/Painter

Overview We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auto body repair and painting, with the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring customer satisfaction through meticulous attention to detail and expert craftsmanship. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs on various types of vehicles, including collision damage and frame straightening. Utilize airless paint spraying techniques to apply finishes and coatings on repaired surfaces. Execute sheet metal work, including cutting, shaping, and welding as needed. Conduct thorough vehicle maintenance checks to identify any additional repairs required. Provide accurate auto estimating for repair costs and timeframes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency. Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines. Detail vehicles post-repair to ensure they meet quality standards before returning them to customers. Skills Proficiency in auto body repair techniques and methods. Experience with auto painting processes, particularly airless paint spraying. Strong skills in soldering and sheet metal work. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices and dealership operations is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to provide outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of auto estimating practices is beneficial.
