Holm Automotive Center is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a professional environment, utilizing advanced tools and diagnostic equipment to ensure vehicles are serviced efficiently and safely. Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using various tools, including ohmmeters and power tools. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements. Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, hoses, brakes, and suspension parts. Utilize hand tools and power tools to disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts accurately. Inspect vehicles for safety issues and ensure all repairs meet industry standards. Utilize our systems to maintain records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle serviced. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively. This is a full time position with occasional rotating half Saturdays. Requirements 3 to 5 years proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role with a solid understanding of automotive systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues accurately. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Experience with vehicle maintenance procedures and repair techniques. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics to facilitate repairs. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. GM automotive experienced is preferred but not mandatory. This position offers a dynamic work environment where technical skills are valued and developed further through ongoing training opportunities. ASE certification or equivalent preferred.
