This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on automation professional with strong PLC troubleshooting and programming experience who is looking to grow into a future Automation Engineer role. This position is focused on maintaining uptime, diagnosing automation issues, and supporting continuous improvement across plant systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly in PLC logic, troubleshooting electrical controls, and supporting commissioning and system upgrades. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and maintain plant automation systems in a manufacturing environment Diagnose and resolve issues involving PLCs, I/O, sensors, drives/VFDs, communications, and electrical controls Modify PLC programs and support automation-related system improvements Troubleshoot industrial control panels and automated equipment Respond to automation downtime events and perform root cause analysis Support commissioning, upgrades, and optimization of plant automation systems Partner with operations and maintenance teams to improve system reliability and performance Communicate effectively across shifts and within a production environment What We're Looking For 5-10+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or PLC-focused manufacturing environments Strong hands-on PLC troubleshooting experience with the ability to work directly in PLC logic Experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment and industrial control systems Strong troubleshooting skills across sensors, drives, I/O, control panels, and communication faults Strong verbal communication skills in an industrial setting (English) Preferred Experience Siemens PLC experience strongly preferred Allen-Bradley / Rockwell experience also considered Robotics or automated material handling experience Commissioning experience Exposure to automation upgrades, controls improvements, or engineering-level project work Why This Opportunity Stands Out Overtime eligible Opportunity to work in a highly automated manufacturing environment High-impact role supporting critical plant operations Featured benefits 401(k), Medical insurance, Vision insurance, Dental insurance, Tuition assistance, Paid maternity leave, Paid paternity leave, Disability insurance, Profit Sharing #IND1
