Automotive Controller | Ourisman Toyota 40 Edgewood | Edgewood, MD Ourisman Toyota 40 Edgewood invites experienced Automotive Dealership Controllers to take the lead in shaping the financial operations of our high-volume Toyota dealership. Automotive dealership accounting experience is required. This senior leadership role will oversee financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, cash management, and operational analysis . You'll work closely with dealership leadership and department managers to ensure strong financial performance and strategic decision-making. Why This Opportunity Stands Out $150,000+ compensation based on experience Leadership role within a high-volume Toyota dealership Back-to-back winner of the prestigious Toyota President's Award Opportunity to work with an established and respected dealer group Direct collaboration with dealership leadership on financial strategy Stable organization with strong growth and long-term career opportunities What You'll Do Financial Reporting Prepare monthly financial statements per manufacturer and dealership guidelines Analyze statements to identify trends and opportunities Provide financial insights to department managers and leadership Budgeting & Forecasting Develop and manage the annual dealership budget Monitor revenue and expenses vs. targets Create short- and long-term financial forecasts Cash Management Maintain effective cash procedures Monitor daily cash flow and forecast needs Oversee bank reconciliations and balances Compliance & Internal Controls Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and dealership policies Implement strong internal accounting controls Safeguard company assets and financial integrity Financial Analysis & Operational Support Analyze dealership KPIs and performance metrics Provide guidance to department managers Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce costs What We're Looking For Automotive dealership accounting experience required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Strong understanding of GAAP Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds or similar DMS Strong analytical, reporting, and leadership skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities CPA preferred but not required About Ourisman For over 100 years , Ourisman Automotive Group has served the region, building a reputation for strong leadership, stable operations, and long-term careers .
