Automotive Diagnostic Technician (A/B Level) - No Weekends - $90K+ Potential RevTech Performance is looking for a skilled Automotive Diagnostic Technician with strong electrical and drivability diagnostic experience to join our team. We specialize in advanced diagnostics, performance upgrades, and high-quality automotive service , working on everything from daily drivers to custom performance builds. If you're a technician who enjoys solving complex problems, working with modern diagnostic equipment, and continuously improving your craft , this is the type of shop where you'll thrive. We believe technicians should be given the time, information, and tools needed to diagnose vehicles correctly — not guess. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair complex electrical, drivability, and network issues Perform advanced diagnostics using scan tools, wiring diagrams, oscilloscopes, and manufacturer data Service and repair European and performance vehicles Perform maintenance, repairs, and performance upgrades Assist with custom builds and performance projects Document diagnostic processes and communicate findings clearly with the team Utilize professional resources such as ALLDATA, Identifix, and advanced scan tools The Technician We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys solving difficult problems — not just replacing parts. Experience 3+ years professional automotive technician experience Independent shop experience preferred Diagnostic & Electrical Skills Strong understanding of: Automotive electrical systems Wiring diagram interpretation CAN/LIN communication networks Module diagnostics and troubleshooting Sensor and circuit testing Advanced drivability diagnosis European Vehicle Experience (Preferred) Experience servicing and diagnosing vehicles such as: BMW Audi Volkswagen Mercedes-Benz Porsche Professional Traits Logical and methodical diagnostic approach Ability to test and verify repairs Strong attention to detail Desire to continue improving technical skills Additional Requirements Valid driver's license Comfortable using digital shop software and diagnostic platforms ASE certifications are a plus but not required Compensation & Benefits Hybrid Pay Structure (Hourly + Performance Bonus) This position offers a hybrid compensation model designed to provide income stability while rewarding productivity and skill.
Expected Annual Earnings:
$55,000 - $100,000+ Top-performing technicians commonly earn $90,000-$100,000+ per year. This structure rewards technicians who are efficient, skilled at diagnostics, and capable of handling complex repairs while still providing a consistent base income.
