Job Description
Description Bellingham, WA | Premium luxury brand | Hospitality mindset required | Veterans encouraged to apply | Top earners make $150k+ per year! The Finance Manager plays a critical role in the dealership's profitability. You'll be responsible for securing financing for customers, structuring deals, and presenting a variety of financial and insurance products to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
Responsibilities:
Guide customers through the full financing process, including credit assessment, loan pre-qualification, lender negotiation, and compliant deal documentation Present and sell F&I products (extended warranties, GAP insurance, service contracts, etc.) tailored to each customer's needs and budget, effectively handling objections to maximize penetration rates Structure financing deals that balance customer satisfaction with dealership profitability, utilizing available tools and techniques within legal and ethical boundaries Deliver an exceptional, consultative customer experience by building trust, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring clarity throughout every step of the transaction Ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations, including the Truth in Lending Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act, and stay current on regulatory updates Maintain strong relationships with lenders and insurance providers, and train and mentor sales staff on F&I products and processes Assist with sales reporting, financial analysis, and additional duties as assignedQualifications:
Demonstrates a high "HQ" (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity. 3+ years of experience in automotive finance with a highline brand Strong understanding of automotive financing principles and loan options. Excellent sales and negotiation skills. Proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in computer skills and dealership management software (DMS). Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license with a clean record. Knowledge of F&I regulations and compliance is a plus. Benefits of Working atSwickard:
