In this energetic role, you'll perform essential maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, tire repair, bulb replacement, small car repairs, and fluid exchanges, ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Your mechanical expertise and passion for automotive repair will help keep our customers on the road with confidence. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your mechanic experience within a supportive dealership environment dedicated to excellence. Other duties will apply, like helping keep shop clean. Duties Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid top-offs, and filter replacements with precision and efficiency Perform tire services including rotations, replacements, balancing, and repairs to optimize vehicle safety and performance Use hand tools and power tools safely to diagnose issues and carry out repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues, perform basic diagnostics, and communicate findings to senior technicians or service advisors Support the dealership's maintenance needs by performing general mechanical tasks and ensuring all work meets quality standards Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate Skills Dealership experience or prior automotive service technician background preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and diagnostics Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire service, and basic repairs Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude Sales aptitude for recommending additional services or products that benefit the customer's vehicle care Join us if you're passionate about automotive repair, eager to develop your mechanic skills further, and ready to deliver top-tier service in a fast-paced environment.
