Automotive Mechanic

INTAKT Auto Repair (Round Lake Beach, IL) is a specialized European car service center (Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen, etc.) and we're looking to add a Skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic to our team. Who We're Looking For Automotive mechanic with at least 2 years of experience Ideally, experience working with European vehicles Someone who likes to find the real cause of the problem , not just replace parts Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair suspension, brakes, engine, and transmission issues Perform scheduled maintenance (oil changes, filters, fluids, inspections, etc.) Assist with more complex repairs and projects (engine work, transmission, performance upgrades) Work carefully with tools and equipment, follow safety and quality standards Communicate and cooperate with the service advisor and the rest of the team Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive mechanic/technician Preferred experience with brands like Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, VW, Porsche Ability to read technical documentation and use diagnostic tools at a basic level Responsible, accurate, and detail-oriented Willingness to learn and grow within a European-focused repair shop What We Offer Work in a modern shop focused on quality over volume Opportunity to grow in European diagnostics, programming, and advanced repair Friendly team and reasonable, respectful management Competitive pay (discussed during the interview, depending on experience) If this sounds like you, send a short resume or a brief description of your experience and your phone number to [insert your email / phone number] .
