Overview We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and reliably, contributing to their driving confidence and satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and service various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to maintain vehicle safety and performance standards. Work on diesel engines, with precision and care. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs, welding tasks, and maintenance procedures. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical systems efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety and reliability. Experience Proven experience as an automotive mechanic with dealership or independent shop background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes, especially GM vehicles or similar brands. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools, schematics reading, and electronic systems troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, welding, alignment techniques, suspension work, brake repair, and auto estimating is highly desirable. Pay:

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
