Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs such as brake repairs, welding, and auto body work. Service diesel engines and address ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration to meet modern vehicle demands. Follow detailed repair procedures based on manufacturer specifications, including GM vehicles when applicable. Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and estimates. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various vehicle types. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software and electrical systems is essential for efficient troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, transmissions, wheel alignment, suspension systems, and tire service. Skilled in working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive schematics to perform precise repairs. Familiarity with auto body repair techniques and maintenance procedures for GM vehicles is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain repairs and foster positive client relationships.
