Our new South Point, Ohio location is a ground-up build designed to serve the Huntington WV, Ashland KY, and Ironton OH Tri-State area . We are a locally owned and operated business backed by a national brand , focused on one thing: Serving our customers—not just providing service. We're opening a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility and are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician / Mechanic to help lead the service side of our operation from day one. Position Overview The Automotive Technician / Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while supporting shop operations, safety, and workflow. This is more than just a mechanic job—this is an opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding franchise group opening multiple locations. What You'll Do Tire & Wheel Installation and related services Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles Brake service, suspension work, and general mechanical repairs Suspension, Lift, Leveling Kit install. Inspect vehicles and recommend needed services Maintain shop organization, tools, and equipment Assist in managing workflow and shop efficiency Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards What We're Looking For 3+ years automotive technician / mechanic experience (required) Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with brakes, suspension, and general automotive repair Experience Installing Lift Kits Alignment experience (With Hunter Equipment Preferred) Ability to mount and balance tires (preferred but not required) Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong work ethic and attention to detail Why Join RNR South Point Brand-new, modern shop with updated equipment Growth opportunity•multiple stores opened with more planned Family-oriented, team-driven culture Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Paid training (including optional travel training opportunities) Tools provided (as applicable) Employee discounts Paid Holidays Closed on Sundays Requirements Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to lift heavy products and stand for extended periods Pass background check and drug screening Professional communication skills Schedule Full-time 8-hour shifts Monday•
