In this energetic role, you'll be at the forefront of vehicle maintenance and repair, combining mechanical skills with auto body restoration to deliver exceptional service. Your hands-on expertise will help restore vehicles to their optimal condition, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. We're looking for motivated professionals eager to apply their skills in a fast-paced environment where every day presents new challenges and opportunities to excel. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical issues and body damage accurately. Conduct auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, welding (MIG, soldering, heavy-duty welding), and auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for disassembly, assembly, fabrication, and repair tasks. Execute auto glass replacement and repairs while ensuring proper sealing and safety standards. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, and detailed inspections. Assist in auto restoration projects by restoring vintage or damaged vehicles to showroom quality. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate estimates clearly to customers using auto estimating tools. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive automotive repair background with a focus on auto body work. Skilled in MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, soldering, and the use of various welding techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, auto painting equipment (including airless paint sprayers), and auto glass installation tools. Experience in auto restoration projects and auto body repair processes such as dent removal and panel alignment. Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly and provide professional advice.
