dba MAACO Auto Painting & Collision Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and take pride in prepping vehicles for a flawless finish? If you enjoy working in a fast-paced shop environment and want to be part of a team that values quality and craftsmanship, we want to meet you! What You'll Do As a Paint Line Technician , you'll play a critical role in the painting process by preparing vehicles for refinishing and ensuring professional, high-quality results.
Your responsibilities will include:
Cleaning and prepping vehicle surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion Masking and protecting non-painted areas using paper, tape, and plastic Sanding and surface preparation using DA sanders and hand tools Removing decals, emblems, old paint, rust, and debris Performing minor surface repairs to ensure a smooth, paint-ready finish Assisting with paint mixing and color matching as needed Supporting painters with primers, sealers, and topcoat preparation Removing masking materials and completing post-paint detailing Buffing, polishing, and cleaning overspray for final presentation Inspecting finished work and performing touch-ups as needed What We're Looking For 1+ year of automotive or paint line experience preferred Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work Ability to follow repair orders and work instructions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly (up to 100 lbs. with assistance ) Stand, bend, kneel, squat, and perform repetitive motions throughout the day Comfortable working in a production-style shop environment Work Environment This role includes exposure to: Paint, solvents, fumes, and chemicals Dust, dirt, and varying temperatures Moderate noise levels Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Comprehensive benefits package: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Accident, Critical Illness & Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Discounts Stable employment with growth opportunities A team-driven workplace built on respect and quality Why
