Automotive Parts Counter Sales Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while effectively managing sales transactions and inventory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and repair, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. Your ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions will be key to your success in this position. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their automotive needs. Manage sales transactions using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties. assisting with order fulfillment. Engage in effective negotiation with customers to close sales while ensuring satisfaction. Provide bilingual support to enhance customer experience for multilingual clientele. Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing inquiries via phone with proper etiquette. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient stocking of products and maintenance of the sales floor. Requirements We prefer Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within an automotive dealership environment. but can train a motivated person willing to learn . Strong knowledge of automotive repair, service, and diagnostics is highly desirable. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual capabilities are a significant advantage. Proficiency in retail math for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in sales management or marketing is beneficial but not required. A commitment to providing outstanding customer service at all times.
