Job Description

Overview Braden Cadillac GMC is looking for the right seasoned person to lead our team. As an Automotive Parts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department. You'll lead a dynamic team, manage inventory, and collaborate with suppliers to guarantee that our automotive service operations run efficiently. Your expertise in supply chain management and automotive diagnostics will be essential as you strive to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business success. What you'll do Oversee the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring optimal inventory levels and efficient warehouse management. Manage supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and terms to secure the best deals for our dealership. Utilize ERP systems for effective inventory control, demand planning, and procurement management. Implement best practices in logistics, shipping & receiving, and order management systems to streamline processes. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to parts availability and automotive repair needs. Conduct regular audits of inventory to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies. Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely availability of parts for automotive repairs and maintenance. Train and mentor team members on automotive parts knowledge, including OEM standards. Skills General Motors OEM background is plus! Solid understanding of automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and equipment repair processes. Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record in supplier management and pricing strategies. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate inventory control.
