We are seeking a highly motivated, high-energy Automotive Sales Manager to lead our variable sales team, manage showroom traffic, maximize gross profit, and maintain our high standards of excellence.
Job Summary:
As the Sales Manager, you will drive vehicle sales volume, structure retail and lease deals, manage inventory turnover, and mentor our team of sales professionals. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring active daily floor management, strict CRM accountability, and strong relationships with automotive lenders.
Key Responsibilities:
Deal Desking & Structuring:
Actively desk and structure profitable financing and lease options, appraise trade-in vehicles, and submit credit applications to our network of lenders.
Team Leadership & Coaching:
Recruit, train, and mentor the sales floor team on closing techniques, CRM workflows, phone handling, and building robust client relationships.
Showroom Traffic Management:
Oversee daily showroom activity, manage internet leads, and step into sales interactions to close deals and overcome customer objections.
Inventory Oversight:
Maintain a highly balanced, fast-turning mix of new CDJR models and pre-owned inventory based on current regional market demands.
CRM & Lead Management:
Ensure sales reps utilize dealership CRM tools (such as VinSolutions) to execute strict follow-up protocols on digital and inbound leads.
OEM Compliance:
Maintain factory-required training credentials with Stellantis / Mopar to ensure complete mastery of factory incentives, commercial programs, and product features.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in automotive dealership sales management or finance (F&I) management. Strong preference for candidates with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram brand experience. Proven track record of desking deals, maintaining strong front-end grosses, and delivering high customer satisfaction scores. Proficiency with modern dealership software such as VinSolutions, vAuto, or DealerTrack. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and personnel management skills. Valid U.S. driver's license with an acceptable, insurable driving record. Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
