Automotive Sales Manager - Gengras Ford

We have a very exciting Automotive Sales Manager role opening at Gengras Ford in Plainville!

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the sales team to maintain strong customer satisfaction and dealership reputation Meet regularly with sales consultants to set and achieve sales and gross profit objectives Hire, train, and develop sales team members Assist in closing sales when necessary Partner with the General Manager on advertising, promotions, staffing plans, and compensation strategies Work with the business manager to structure deals that maximize revenue Ensure all sales consultants understand and follow dealership policies Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals Review and approve all trade-in appraisals Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local automotive sales laws Coach, mentor, and develop sales staff to improve performance Track sales goals and drive the team to exceed quotas

Qualifications:

Proven ability to maintain departmental profitability while controlling expenses and ensuring customer satisfaction Strong understanding of dealership operations and compliance requirements Leadership skills with a passion for training and motivating others Energetic, goal-oriented, and personable Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficient with computers and basic math Valid driver's license with clean driving record
