Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between customers and our service technicians, ensuring smooth communication, accurate service writing, and outstanding customer experiences. Your enthusiasm for automotive repair and customer service will drive your success in helping clients maintain their vehicles' performance and safety. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Explain repair procedures, estimates, and recommended services clearly and transparently Write detailed service orders, ensuring accuracy in descriptions of work needed and parts required Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services Upsell additional maintenance or repair services based on customer needs and vehicle diagnostics Manage customer inquiries professionally, providing updates on vehicle status and estimated completion times Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and maintain detailed records of all service activities Requirements Proven experience in dealership or auto service management roles with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs Knowledge of mechanical systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension, tires, diesel engines, shocks & struts, alignments, air brakes, and auto body repair Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity Mechanical knowledge complemented by mechanic experience or service technician background is highly desirable Strong communication skills for explaining technical issues to customers clearly Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage multiple tasks efficiently Join us to be part of a passionate team that values automotive expertise and exceptional customer care. Pay:
$45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
