Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Write detailed and accurate service orders, including descriptions of repairs, recommended services, and estimated costs Communicate effectively with technicians to relay customer concerns and clarify repair requirements Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission services to enhance vehicle performance and safety Manage auto estimating processes using dealership or shop management software to ensure precise pricing and parts ordering Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures, timelines, and costs clearly to clients Qualifications Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures Experience with service writing, auto estimating, and upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities Knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, alignments, suspension components, tire services, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair is advantageous Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service Prior mechanic or service technician experience is a plus for understanding technical aspects of repairs This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to grow within the automotive industry.
