Automotive Service Writer

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be responsible for helping customers throughout the repair process, from the first phone call to vehicle pickup.

Responsibilities include:

Answering phones and scheduling appointments Greeting customers and listening to their vehicle concerns Writing repair orders Communicating with technicians about vehicle issues and recommended repairs Preparing and presenting estimates to customers Explaining repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly Selling recommended services in an honest and professional way Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process Processing invoices and helping maintain an organized front counter Providing friendly, professional customer service every day Qualifications The ideal candidate must have: Automotive knowledge or previous automotive service experience Sales experience Strong phone and communication skills A good understanding of the automotive repair industry Ability to explain repairs to customers in a clear and honest way Strong organization skills A dependable and professional attitude Ability to work Saturdays Experience with Tekmetric POS system preferred, but we are willing to train

Pay:

$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
