Duties Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Accurately document customer descriptions of issues and translate them into detailed repair orders Explain recommended repairs and maintenance options clearly, emphasizing benefits and costs Collaborate with technicians to prioritize repairs, estimate timeframes, and ensure quality service delivery Manage auto estimating using shop management software to prepare accurate quotes Handle cash transactions, process payments efficiently, and maintain precise financial records Maintain thorough knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures. Requirements Proven auto service experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, suspensions, brakes, etc. Experience in auto estimating software and service writing with excellent attention to detail Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and confidently Ability to expand services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust Mechanical experience or background as a mechanic or service technician is highly desirable Knowledge of automotive sales principles and experience in automobile sales preferred Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment Join us in delivering outstanding automotive care!
