Automotive Technician

Overview Professional Transmission is seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment where safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction are our top priorities. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic testing using scan tools, pressure gauges, and road tests to accurately identify vehicle issues Repair or replace clutches, torque converters, valve bodies, seals, gaskets, and other internal components Conduct R&R (removal and reinstallation) of transmissions and drivetrain components Perform fluid exchanges, filter replacements, and routine maintenance services Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace Follow all shop procedures and safety standards Qualifications Strong knowledge of automotive transmissions, drivetrain systems, and general mechanical repair Proficiency with shop equipment, including lifts, hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and diagnostic tools Hands-on experience in a professional automotive repair environment Valid driver's license preferred What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience No weekend work Consistent workload in a professional shop Supportive and team-oriented work environment
