Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other vehicle systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to complete repairs efficiently. Service and maintain vehicles according to manufacturer specifications, including GM vehicles when applicable. Identify issues related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and perform calibration or repairs as needed. Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and estimated timelines, ensuring excellent customer service. Complete auto estimating procedures accurately for repair orders and work with the service team to prioritize tasks. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician experience in an automotive repair setting. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including electrical, powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engines. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance, alignments, ADAS calibration, and automotive electrical systems. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service tools confidently. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism. Prior auto estimating experience is a plus; familiarity with GM vehicles or diesel engine repair is advantageous.
