Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive service and maintenance, possess mechanical knowledge, and be familiar with power tools and schematics. Responsibilities
  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Utilize dealership software for auto estimating
  • Troubleshoot and repair automotive electrical systems
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively
  • Interpret and follow schematics for diagnostics and repairs
Essential Duties:
  • Repair and Diagnosis:
    Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy. Diagnoses the cause of most malfunctions and executes repairs.
  • Parts Coordination:
    Communicates with the parts stores to obtain necessary replacement parts.
  • Safety and Service Assessment:
    Examines assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required. If additional work is needed, they promptly inform the store manager.
  • Documentation:
    Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order. They also road test vehicles when required.
  • Supervision:
    Supervises the work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.
  • Shop Maintenance:
    Ensures customers' cars are kept clean, maintains a neat shop area, and is accountable for all owned tools and manuals Requirements
  • Previous experience as a mechanic or technician
  • Proficiency in automotive service and maintenance
  • Knowledge of automotive electrical systems
  • Ability to use power tools and hand tools efficiently
