Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical systems, and more. If you are passionate about automotive technology and have the necessary experience, we encourage you to apply. Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, including GM vehicles and diesel engines. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various automotive tasks. Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, brake replacements, and alignments. Interpret schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting automotive electrical systems. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Assist in auto estimating for repair costs. Requirements A minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience is a plus. Perform state inspections (WV auto inspection license or willing to obtain one), maintenance, and repairs on vehicles, ATVs, trailers, etc. Strong understanding and ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs. Ability to perform alignments on all vehicles.
Properly perform routine vehicle maintenance:
oil change, batteries, brakes, tires, etc. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
