Automotive Technician

Archer's Action Auto is an independent, family-operated repair shop in the Carolina Forest area off US-501. We have been at our current location since 2000 and have a well-established reputation servicing both locals and visitors for many years. In January 2026 we just moved into our new building, featuring 16 climate-controlled service bays. Integrity is important to the business and our employees are an essential part of what makes us great.

An ideal candidate should:

Have experience working professionally in automotive repair (5+ years minimum) Possess their own personal tools, and be comfortable operating the shop's equipment in a safe and efficient manner Be comfortable performing repairs and maintenance independently without direct supervision Value teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment Have expertise in diagnostics: drivability complaints, computers, electrical, air conditioning, etc. Experience with Snap-On, Bosch, Matco scanners a plus Proficiency using AllData & Mitchell a plus Capable of replacing engine/transmission assemblies Have valid South Carolina driver's license and be insurable to test drive vehicles Be able to work some Saturdays (open 8a-2p) Additional plusses: - ASE certifications (or any factory training certificates) - Towing experience (we perform local towing back to shop for repairs) Salary is negotiable and based on ability/experience. We guarantee 45 hours per week (5 hrs. overtime) with extra hours often available. 6 paid holidays & vacation/personal time. The Archers generally like to meet and interview, then if deemed a mutual fit we would agree upon a starting wage. As time progresses, we provide performance-based raises and incentives.
