Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our valued customers. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Service vehicles by replacing parts, performing alignments, wheel balancing, and brake repairs to ensure safety and performance. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive tools to complete repairs with precision. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating for repairs, and communicate findings clearly to customers. Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive repair techniques, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and diagnostics. Requirements Service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Solid mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines. Proficiency in reading schematics and using automotive diagnostics equipment effectively. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake services. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience with auto estimating software is advantageous. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance machinery safely. Must live in a reasonable distance to Webster, SD. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to addressing client needs and explaining repairs clearly.
