Used Vehicle Technician JP Sides Automotive Group - Fast Growing Automotive Group JP Sides Automotive Group is expanding and we are actively hiring a Used Vehicle Technician to support our growing pre-owned inventory operations. We are a fast-growing, performance-driven automotive group with multiple rooftops and a strong reputation for doing business the right way. As our used vehicle volume continues to increase, we need a dependable, skilled technician to help us maintain quality and turn inventory efficiently. Position Overview This role focuses primarily on used vehicle inspections, light reconditioning, and repair work for our pre-owned department. While most work will be light to moderate recon, diagnostic ability and the capability to handle deeper mechanical issues when needed is essential. This is structured, organized recon with steady workflow. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive used vehicle inspections Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Complete light to moderate reconditioning repairs Handle occasional deeper mechanical repairs as needed Maintain quality control standards Document findings accurately Work efficiently to support inventory turn Qualifications Minimum 5 years technician experience Strong diagnostic capability (electrical & drivability preferred) Ability to work independently Good attitude and team mindset Dependable and punctual Valid driver's license ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
