Automotive Technician/Mechanic - All Star Hyundai

All Star Hyundai is looking for a Level 2 & 3 certified Automotive Technician or another OEM equivalent. All Star Hyundai, is seeking a Hyundai certified technician, for our growing dealership with at least two years of auto service and repair experience in a Toyota brand dealership or other OEM equivalent. Responsibilities:

Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications'

QUALIFICATIONS:

2-3 years of automotive technician experience preferred Toyota certifications preferred ASE Certification Smog license a plus Proficiency in the use of mechanic shop tools Valid Driver's License and clean driving record A positive and friendly attitude Great communication skills High school diploma or equivalent

COMPENSATION

The Technician Position has a Pay Scale governed by a Union contract with 10 different classifications. A copy of the Union contract is available upon request. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $20.48 and $40.88. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
