Job Overview:
The Assistant Vice President, Enterprise Risk serves as a leader responsible for advancing the firm's enterprise risk management oversight capabilities. The position supports the preparation and review of senior management and Board‑level materials, manages key governance routines, and partners closely with stakeholders across the organization. In addition, the AVP will lead the development and enhancement of enterprise‑level frameworks and programs that strengthen the firm's risk management practices.Responsibilities:
Establish and continuously enhance enterprise risk principles, standards, and frameworks, strengthening consistency and discipline across the risk management organization. Drive cross-functional alignment and adoption of enterprise risk frameworks by influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders across business lines. Lead the evolution of the firm's reputational risk framework, enabling consistent identification, assessment, and enterprise-wide reporting. Develop and deliver clear, insight-driven materials for senior management and Board-level audiences, translating complex risk topics into actionable perspectives. Maintain and evolve the enterprise risk taxonomy and risk level standards, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory expectations. Oversee the development and maintenance of risk management standards, procedures, and documentation, adapting to evolving business and regulatory needs. Advance the firm-wide risk assessment program, enhancing methodology, structure, and outputs to deliver more meaningful risk insights. Facilitate senior-level risk discussions to identify emerging risks, thematic trends, and key enterprise exposures. Oversee governance processes and review cycles, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of materials across forums. Communicate risk insights, expectations, and key developments clearly and effectively to senior leadership. Demonstrate strong leadership and accountability, helping to shape team culture and elevate execution standards. What are we looking for? 3+ years of financial services experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics (or a related discipline)Core Competencies:
Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to apply formulas, manipulate datasets, and extract meaningful insights Strong PowerPoint skills and comfort with executive‑ready presentation design Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risk concepts into compelling storytelling for senior leadership Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to collaborate across teams and influence without formal authority Capacity to take initiative, identify opportunities, and implement improvements Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to guide and influence othersPay Range:
$106,502.00 - $177,572.00 Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
