BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for preparing annual review memos for existing borrowers tied to the commercial lending loans portfolios. The Portfolio Manager will be assigned a portfolio of CRE facilities to manage. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIEs Assume full account management responsibility for any CRE loan as described above under Basic Function. Provide ongoing credit oversight and portfolio management of the CRE loan portfolio through annual reviews, monitoring of covenant compliance and the creation and maintenance of "Watch List" credits. Interact with Loan Officers, Borrowers or CPAs to obtain necessary financial information required to complete annual reviews. Meet with clients if & when required and perform assessment of issues and financial condition, and ability to repay debt in accordance with the terms thereof. Consult with customers regarding their financial performance trends and pro-actively anticipate and manage deteriorating credits. Negotiate and recommend for approval, financial covenant waivers and loan modifications. Manage portfolio risk on a forward and proactive basis with respect to economic and industry trends, borrower concentrations, industry concentrations, likelihood of default and loss and criticized and classified loan migration. Recommend specific action plans upon identifying increased borrower credit risk to mitigate nonperforming / non-accrual loan status. Daily monitoring of all overdrafts for C&I relationships. Order appraisals, flood searches, and credit reports. Assist with site visits/ property inspections as needed. Assist SVP Director of Portfolio Management with monthly reporting as required.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
College Degree Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years related work experience (Lending, collections, bankruptcy, and foreclosure). Formal credit training required. Excellent written/verbal communication skills required. Ability to work independently and meet specified deadlines. Assertive, self-directed personality type. Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software required.
