Job Overview Join our dynamic BBQ culinary team as a Back of House Kitchen Worker, where your energy and culinary skills will help create exceptional dining experiences. In this vital role, you will support food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and assist in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. Your dedication will contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen and the satisfaction of our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced food service setting. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients to support meal creation Follow established recipes and menu plans to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards Support cooking activities by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools throughout shifts Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy periods Assist with catering orders and special event setups as needed Support team members in serving food when necessary and ensuring customer satisfaction Experience Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly valued Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques is essential Kitchen experience in the food industry or culinary settings is advantageous Strong knife skills and knowledge of meal preparation are beneficial Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting a busy kitchen operation Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to quality food service!
