The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that all food items are presented beautifully and meet our quality standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, including basic cooking tasks. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and kitchen. Communicate effectively with servers, cooks, and management to facilitate smooth operations. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times. Support banquet services when required, ensuring all guest needs are met. Experience Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Experience in a hotel or banquet setting is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. A background in food preparation or cooking can enhance your candidacy.
