Bakery Assistant

Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bakery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and production of baked goods, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and provide excellent customer service.

Starting Shift:

This position is a 4am start time Tuesday through Friday. Monday start time is flexible. Occasional weekend hours during big events/holidays, but very rare.

Pay:

Pay scale starts at $14, but is based on experience level. More experience can yield higher starting pay. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods, including measuring and mixing ingredients, shaping dough, and decorating finished products
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and sweeping and mopping floors
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and fulfilling orders
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and handling food in a safe and hygienic manner Experience
• Prior experience in a bakery or food service environment preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic math skills and ability to follow recipes and measurements accurately
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
