Bakery Clerk

Company Overview Seasons Supermarkets is one of the largest kosher supermarket chains in the nation. At present, there are nine Seasons locations across the Tri-State area with plans to expand. Seasons offers its customers a full-service kosher shopping experience where everyone, including its highly dedicated associates, is treated like family. We are seeking an experienced and friendly Bakery Clerk. This position will require you to communicate with our customers in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing products and excellent customer services in our bakery which includes the usage of proper phone etiquette, answering customer questions, and communicating with management Ensuring that stock levels are maintained at all times in the bakery department and that all products are fresh and displayed properly, as well as follow appropriate health regulations and safety standards concerning sanitation and food handling Maintain stock levels by taking the product from the backroom to the sales floor, opening cases, and stocking the shelves. Prepare, pack, and label bakery items Inspect the quality of items in displays, cases, shelves, etc. Baking challahs, rolls, pita breads, cookies and muffin

Requirements:

Be able to maintain professionalism when dealing with customers Willingness to learn and be responsible. Excellent verbal communication. Professional appearance Great customer service skills. Being able to perform activities such as lifting, climbing, and standing for a long period of time. Previous experience is a plus and not a must.
