Bank Teller / Customer Service Representative

The Miners State Bank is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Full-Time Teller to join our team. As a Teller, you will be the face of our bank, providing exceptional service and support to our valued customers. You will perform a variety of transactions and assist customers with their banking needs, contributing to the overall success and community-focused mission of our branch.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming environment. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information on bank products and services.

Transaction Processing:

Accurately handle financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and currency exchange. Ensure all transactions are conducted with precision and in accordance with bank policies.

Account Maintenance:

Assist customers with managing their accounts. Provide guidance on using online banking services and other digital tools.

Security and Compliance:

Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulations. Maintain security protocols to protect customer information and prevent fraud.

Cross-Selling:

Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate bank products or services that meet their financial goals.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with fellow team members to achieve branch objectives and provide support as needed. Qualifications Proficient in cash handling and basic math Excellent customer service skills Ability to manage customer relationships effectively Competence in using financial software and cash registers
