Job description Banquet Bartender The Wisconsin Hotel & Conference Center / The Crystal Room Part Time Position Summary We are seeking friendly, reliable, and professional Banquet Bartenders to join our events team. Banquet Bartenders are responsible for providing excellent beverage service during weddings, meetings, conferences, parties, and special events while creating a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment. This position works closely with banquet staff, catering leadership, and event hosts to ensure smooth and efficient bar service throughout each event. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set up and stock banquet bars according to event needs and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional and timely manner Verify guest age and follow all alcohol service laws and company policies Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas throughout events Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to banquet leadership Handle cash, tabs, and payment processing accurately when applicable Provide friendly and professional customer service to guests Assist with banquet setup, service, and breakdown as needed Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, beer, wine, and liquor offerings Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible beverage service standards Work as part of the banquet team to ensure successful event execution Qualifications Previous bartending experience preferred Bartending license/certification preferred or willingness to obtain Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Dependable, organized, and team-oriented Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Schedule Primarily evenings and weekends Hours vary based on event schedule Benefits Flexible scheduling Employee discounts Opportunities for growth within the hospitality team Fun, event-focused work environment
