Job Description

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work flexible shift times Must be 18 years or older Must be able to lift 50+ pounds as you will be moving stacks of chairs, rolling tables, moving stages, etc Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Banquet Houseman, where your energy and attention to detail will elevate our guests' experience. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of banquet and event spaces, creating a welcoming environment for memorable gatherings. Your proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and banquet set up/ tear down will contribute to the seamless operation of our hospitality services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to exceptional service and hospitality excellence. Duties Prepare banquet rooms by cleaning and setting up tables, chairs, linens, and equipment to ensure a polished presentation for events Maintain cleanliness of all banquet areas, including floors, walls, and fixtures, through thorough cleaning. Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies efficiently and safely during event setup and breakdown Monitor the cleanliness of hallways, storage areas, and service corridors to uphold sanitation standards Support the janitorial team by performing industrial cleaning tasks as needed to maintain overall facility hygiene Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained for optimal use Collaborate with the hospitality team to deliver smooth transitions between events by ensuring spaces are spotless and well-organized Qualifications Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial work within a hospitality environment is highly preferred Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning methods Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service expectations Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and organization Experience with housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting fellow staff members Join us in creating exceptional guest experiences through meticulous cleanliness and hospitality excellence!
