Job Description
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Food and Beverage, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of Banquet Catering. Responsible for scheduling, planning, timing and supervision of all details for successful banquet functions. High school diploma or GED. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of banquet supervisory experience. Must be friendly, personable, well groomed, organized, professional and able to multi-task. Individual must speak, write, and read English. The primary responsibility is to ensure our "Extraordinary" guest service standards are maintained at all times. Working during weekends, holidays and peak business periods is required, including working any shift/day designated by the Food and Beverage Department.Duties and Responsibilities:
Must adhere to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe's Policies and Procedures. Responsible for scheduling, planning, timing and supervision of all details for successful banquet functions. Manages the setup, execution and breakdown of all events according to the Banquet Event Order. Communicates with the Catering team in order to make the event a success Ensures guest service according to established standard of quality. Ensures the resolution of customer complaints/concerns. Implements customer service initiatives. Responsible for maintaining departmental labor cost and meeting banquet profit goals. Responsible for complying with all food and beverage health/sanitation, liquor and safety regulations. As well as all federal, state and local applicable laws. Inspects and monitors the cleanliness of all equipment and food & beverage areas. Ensures sanitation compliance throughout restaurants. Hires and discharges employees according to established personnel policies and procedures. Implements and conducts orientation, training and evaluation programs. Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times. Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. Participates as a panel member on MPGE's Board of Review as needed. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of banquet supervisory experience.Qualifications:

Must possess a broad knowledge of culinary and beverage. Must read, write, and speak English fluently. Must demonstrate exemplary interaction and conflict resolution skills. Must be able to operate company computers, required programs, and equipment with accuracy and appropriate speed.Physical Demands:
