Banquet Server

Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Servers to join our team. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services during events and functions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of service.

Altoona Events have different schedules, you can pick what suits you best! Responsibilities Set up banquet tables and dining areas according to event specifications. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout the event. Buss tables promptly after guests have finished their meals, ensuring a tidy environment. Respond to guest inquiries and assist as needed to enhance their experience. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service operations. Availability until 11:00 PM Skills Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Experience in banquet or catering settings is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with others seamlessly. Previous experience in the food industry is a plus, particularly in roles involving food handling or bussing.
